How it all began

Whitney and Sam met back in 2020 when he hired her as the newest bartender at Mesquite Creek Outfitters. It was not long after that the two would spend their evenings after closing up the bar showing each other their favorite songs and drinking cheap red wine into the early hours of the morning. After a couple of months of this, they made it official. Whitney, Elmer Dog, & Sam moved into their first home together in 2021 and soon after, Newt the Toot was added to the family. Sam and Whitney love to spend their free time fishing Texas coast or the hill country rivers. Sam recently got the opportunity to learn to ski from the best (Whitney and Cass) last Christmas on one of their many trips to J Hole, WY.
So why Jackson?
It was important for Whitney to show Wyoming to Sam so he could see where she came from and who her family was. Five months into their relationship, Sam hopped on a plane to Dubois, WY where he was to meet Mike and Stacy for the first time. This is where Sam got to see his future fiancé in her natural habitat and the place where the foundations of the relationship between Sam and the Carruth family were built. Jackson Hole is a deeply special place to Sam and Whitney and it is exciting to share it with the people who mean the most to them.
