Wedding Weekend Q&A

What is the dress code?

Our wedding theme is Western Chic and we request cowboy cocktail attire. To make it easy on you, we have created a style guide with plenty of inspiration! We kindly request you do not wear jeans.

Where can I book accommodations?

We ask that the wedding party and designated plus ones stay at the Bentwood Inn. For family and friends outside the wedding party, we recommend reserving a cabin at The Fireside Inn just a few minutes down the road.

Do I need a rental car?

Not necessarily. We recommend getting a taxi or Uber from the airport to The Bentwood or Fireside Resort to check in. Bikes are available at The Bentwood if you would like to take the trails into town or there is always Uber. The Carruths have been known to hitchhike in the area but have not had great success.

What should I pack?

There is an endless list of things to do in Jackson, such as white water rafting, hiking, fishing, day drinking, shopping, etc. Pack according to what interests you most. Don’t forget your party dress and pack a sweater because the evenings get chilly!

What weather can we expect?

We believe late June in Jackson is the prefect time to visit with the days being in the low 80’s and the evening getting down to the high 40’s. Be sure to check the weather app frequently as weather can change suddenly in the mountains.

Are kids and plus ones allowed?

We have always imagined a small intimate wedding with our closest friends and family and have planned accordingly. That said, we have a strict number of guests allowed at the venue so we encourage you to enjoy a kid free weekend.

Wedding Registry?

We know the amount of time, work and money it takes to come celebrate with us so we do not have a wedding registry. Your presence at the wedding is your gift to us.

Where is the ceremony and how do I get there?

The ceremony is located at The Bentwood Inn, we will provide transportation on the day of the wedding for the guests who are staying at the Fireside Resort.

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Plainly speaking, no. We invested in a fabulous photographer and we will gladly share photos of the ceremony with you. We ask that all phones remain on silent and tucked away in your pockets.
